Sell the sunflowers and buy diesel - $26/cwt. here. :) We've used a corn head w/knife rolls for 4 years now, don't think there is any difference (probably 10% loss on both) between corn head and all crop head. We plant north and south - heads will face east. Plant east and west and the heads can rub on each other and shell out.
