A couple years ago we planted about 150 acres of 15" row corn. We were disappointed in the yields, worst was 19 bpa less for the 15" to even compared to 30" rows in a side by side situation. There are some of the bigger farmers around that are planting 20" corn but if you talk to them one on one they usually wiil admit that thier yields haven't increased enough to justify the extra costs.
