some wheat in sc ks was appraised by crop adjusters last week at 10 bu acre. it was planted at the end of oct, had a decent stand then the 3rd week of feb rec'd a hard 3/4" of rain and temp fell to 11 degrees, it appears that the wheat just died. looks like sumner cnty will probably lose 30% of its wheat. the crop adjustment appears to be high when you look at the feilds.
