| Until about 2 months ago, 16MB was the largest card that could be used with the small Universal Display monitor, or the larger monitor if it was running 3.2 (or lower) firmware. Firmware has been available for several years to allow the use of larger cards in the larger displays, but it wasn't till earlier this summer that Case released v4.7 firmware for the small display, finally allowing the use of cards larger than 16MB in those displays.
While your Case rep's (was it Cyndi?) description of being "lost in space" wasn't exactly accurate, she was correct that anything over 16MB was too large. Good for you for archiving every night...
Current datacards from Case IH are 128MB CompactFlash cards with an adapter sleeve, and the new color displays will use a 256MB card or USB drive, depending on the display... | |
