Subject: Question on Oliver tractors

Wyoming

OK, I've been looking around for a small (25 to 45 HP) tractor for yard and utility work. With fuel at $3/gal for off-road fuel, it makes no sense to use a 130 HP tractor for small chores.

An 8N doesn't have a live PTO, and no hydraulics. Some neighbors have told me that Oliver made some pretty useful tractors in this range -- like the Super 55, etc.

Anything to look for, what prices are too high, and which tractors in this HP range would be best for collectable value in the future?

thanks guys...
