Under pivot irrigation I would see no problem with that.If anything I would go with 105day corn or lower. We faced an issue like this several years ago where we had hail that stripped the corn to the stalk only on July 4 on gravity irrigated ground. Ended up picking up pipe and disking the field and planted within a couple of days after. We were hoping to get silage off it but ended up making 155bu/A. Heck we planted a pivot corner this year the last week of June and it is looking OK(gravity irrigated).
