The nice thing about waste oil burners is that burning waste oil is an EPA-approved disposal method.

I'm sure it is easier to get rid of waste oil in other areas of the country, but around here, it can tend to pile up in 55-gal drums on an outfit because not too many people have waste oil burners and you have to pay big bucks to get waste oil hauled away. So a waste oil heater is somewhere in our future...

That said, it is darn tough to beat the economics of burning corn... even if it gets to $4/bu, which it won't.
