Yes it will pull it ok. I used an 886 for a year or so to pull one. It is the stopping and controlling it that you may have trouble with. You don't say whether you have the dolly wheels or the two point hitch. With dolly wheels the drill can push the tractor around on turns. Had a guy a year ago that was using a 4020 and it turned over and killed him. If you use it be very careful turning and stopping. The open center question is not a problem - just occasionally bump the lever down to keep pressure on the disks and it works fine.
