| I would opt for the update kit that relocates the moisture sensor to the side of the clean grain elevator. Also, I would make sure the kit leaves the moisture sensor inside the grain tank so you do not have to worry about changing the wiring harness from your current moisture sensor. As you most likely already know, the newer combines have the moisture sensor located outside the grain tank on the clean grain elevator, but I think you would have to reconfigure or remove a shield to make it work on your combine. I cannot recollect the cost, but the kit includes a wiring harness, mounting plate, electric motor, and screw.
Installation is not that big of deal, but I would highly recommend using a tiny cutting wheel that attaches to a rotary tool of some kind to cut into the clean grain elevator.
Lastly, I would recommend re-flighting your incline auger. The gap in the auger flighting due to the old location of the moisture sensor will cause the center of the tube to wear excessively.
