Have done both. With truss/metal bldg you can pull off a piece of ridge cap in several spots to fill from. Depending on the depth of grain and width of the building the trusses can get in the way if you for checking the grain or need to stir it a little. Haven't actually put any grain in our bunker with the hoop on top but with 24' of clearence(10' of bunker and 14' of hoop) getting a auger in from either end should work good as well. It stays cooler in our hoop but one end is open, also its a lot lighter( maybe good and bad). I would think either way would work. The hoop is going to be a lot quicker and cheaper to build.
