Hours are like miles to me now Jeff. The higher they are the better chance they abused or taken care of so they ought to show when you try them out.

Saw a tractor with 10k on it that was in better shape and I would prefer ahead of one that had less than 5k on it. All of mine have 6k or better except one so they have decreased in value and depreciated out. Lots of people don't consider the depreciation, some do.

Bought a runaround truck with 110k on it. Put 30 on it and it still drives as well as most new ones.

Used to be a good indicator but hard to figure these days...
