Are you 100% no-till? If not, what kind of tillage do you do to prepare your seedbed for corn? When considering rolling, especially in the soils of NE Iowa, you need to definitely think about the possible reprocussions down the road. Personally, unless fighting major rock issues, you could not pay me to roll my ground because of the compaction. Remember, 80% of your total compaction comes with the first pass across the field. So, depending on the previous year's field treatment, you may do some serious compaction by rolling right behind your bean drill.
