Your schematic doesn't make sense. The oil has to go from reservoir to the pump first, can't be any other way. There must be a relief valve after the pump somewhere. As for the pressure, I don't know how much you are lifting, but 2 3.5 inch cylinders at 2078 psi will push 40 000, so that is not really that much pressure.
