There HAS to be a relief valve or solid plug in that tee or somewhere in that line from the tee to the tank. Oil will take the path of least resistance, & that would be right back to the tank thru that line. No way in hell it would lift anything...& a system w/no relief at all is highly unlikely too...the relief should be between the pump & valve, but who knows???
