| Ahhh Dave, Liquids are definitely compressable. Howard Hughes got quite an education on the compressability of liquids when he was building the Spruce Goose. Proper hydrostating of a cylinder is done in a tank of liquid to absorb the shock load if the pressure vessel ruptures.
Believe me, when a liquid filled line under test lets go, Mops Don't Make It! You begin calling for wetvacs, very quickly, especially if it's in a hospital. I once bought every available wet vac from every janitor supply house in town in under 15 minutes, and had 3 trucks in route to fetch them. | |
