| Bobcat has had alot of problems with track life on their track machines. The tracks Bobcat uses were made for mini excavator's which don't see much travel time and on the skid steers the friction from the wires inside builds up heat which really shortens their life. I've heard several Bobcat owners say that they figure their track machines will cost $4/hour just for track replacements, if you doing custom work and charging by the hour that isn't a big deal but for a farmer that would add up fast. The Cat track components are from ASV who has been building track loaders for along time so Cat had a proven product from the start. | |
