I bought a 7250 Magnum with 4000 hrs last winter.....from a local JD dealer, but was a local machine and the CIH dealer knew the previous owner and claimed that they were reputable people. It was not used a a tillage tractor.

After a trip through the dealer shop, we had about $50K into the tractor. plus a set of new front tires.

The biggest problem buying a tractor of that age is that most of them are still on the original tires, which are in need of replacement.

Different brands have different cutoffs for "high houred." The CIH Magnums still have a lot of useful life at 4-5000 hrs.
