West Salem, Illinois | I've been reading and researching alot lately on getting away from corn feeding my cattle. I'm working on the pastures and now am looking at the cows themselves. If I were wanting to really get my cows down sized:
How would you all start?
Sell off bigger cows replace with smaller/ more efficent cows?
Buy better bulls, that have the traits I want?
What does everyone feel is the best cow herd?
The whole idea is to do this as affordably as possible, but also quickly.
