Subject: RE: John Burns on JD 9200`

Pittsburg, Kansas

I have one of the early produced 9200's and have not had any engine problems - yet - knock on wood. Had some injector bolts get loose/strech on the 9400 and can't remember for sure but they may have replaced the 9200's as a precaution. Had some premature injector wear. Can't really tell that except power just slowly goes away - didn't know there was a problem till checked turbo boost and it was low. I wish all engines had a boost gauge on them.

Can't help you with this one. Hope it doesn't become a problem on mine - think it is somewhere around 3000 hours now.
