McLeod County Minnesota | It is not illegal to manufacture or sell an arbor press. It is however against OSHA regs to have hired employees using them unless the ram teeth are guarded.
Insurance inspectors don’t say anything about all obvious hazards. They merely jot them down and premiums are increased accordingly.
This interpretation is 30 years old dating back to when I did engineering work and may have changed in the interim.
