Our trailer is either a '99 or '00. As long as we keep the rack & pinion cleaned out & use graphite on it it works fine. Don't use oil or grease as it will attrach dust & dirt & get tight.

First I have heard of a mini air ride. Would be curious to know the difference myself. Ours will take both hands to start but once it turns over it can be opened with 1 hand.

BTW, only reason I said the next trailer would be aluminum is the weight factor. I am satisfied with our Drake. We are looking for another trailer but that's because we have 2 tractors & pull a 30' dump with the other one. Dump is great going in to the bins but need something that will bridge more when hauling to the processor or elevator.
