No-Till/Tillage....that's an oxymoron if I ever heard one!!!

I saw a disk today that had all the disk blades changed to 8 wave no-till coulters, front and back.

I'm 100% no till, but I have a lot of "white ground" that is poorly drained and doesn't dry out to well in the spring. Would a tool like this be good to drag through, ahead of the planter, in the spring to help dry things out?

What about fall use for something like this?

I have some neighbors that have run a Salford (sp) machine some in the spring, and I think Great Plains also has a similar tool.

I guess what I'm asking is what situation do these machines work well in, and would this converted disk do the same thing?

... TIA ..............................Mark
