Subject: Got R' Done

Graymont Illinois

Drilled holes a little bigger and you could see seperated pieces of metal. The last spotweld which was a problem was behind a sprocket. Had to drill at about a 45 degree angle.

About the hardest thing was driving the "screw rod" up and later down again.

Decided to replace #3 and #4 . Took 3 JD dealers to get all 4 parts:>)  Had a heck of a time freeing up the parts on square bar. But once cleaned up and wire brushed, things slid good. Had a little trouble getting the cotter pin in on each side . Get 1 in and other one was covered.

After most everthing was put back together, cylinder bars and concave look pretty square. With the concave all the way closed I have the tip of 1 bolt in cylinder bar barely touching the concave. Think it will wear down but mech neighbor is going to give it a lookover and make sure things are correct so I can put the combine back together. Thanks all.
