It is not difficult, but takes time, especially if you are by yourself. With some help it goes faster. Two men should change it in a day. Pull the hood, radiator, and try to lay the power steering pump off to the side, and maybe a few other things. Put in a new re lease bearing while you are in there too. I did one a couple of years ago myself. Disconnection those wires to the headlights from the hood can be difficult---theyare full of mud and tar from the road.
