JDman5055 - 9/8/2006 13:31 .....I'm thinking of trading my 4055..I have done various posts on here stating what a great tractor she is..but our operation has changed some and it's gonna put it in the role of doing even more heavy work..it has 7600 hours at the moment..I have found a super sharp 4700 actual houred 4450 with quad...so my question is,would it be wise to trade my 4055 for it? It having quad and mine having powershift doesn't bother me any,cuz the tractor will be doing heavy work anyways..so that's not a factor..I have never had any trouble with my 4055..in all those tough hours..the only thing i've replaced is the alternator..I realize there isn't much difference between the two..but the 4450 sure does look like it has a heavier rear-end..and that's what i'm worried about on my 4055..with it pulling a 25 foot disc..5-18 semi-reset plow..24 foot field cultivator..etc...any comments on this would be greatly appreciated.
