| Wow! 7 foot grass? What kind is it? I know pampas grass gets about 7 feet tall here in the states.
Our harvest conditions are warm and dry. About 80 degrees to sometimes 100 for a day or so. Low humidity. Pretty much all the grass locally is swathed. As lang as we dont get rain on the swathe, the ground underneath is also very dry and warm so really, the harvesting conditions are about as ideal as they can be.
As far as loss goes, I run at a small loss pretty much all the time. The best all around combine settings usally require a small loss. I just try to keep it to a minimum, but expect it to be there.
thanks for the info John. | |
