Actaully it hasn't been too bad here lately.

Sprayed right at 900 acres of peanuts the the other day and it wasn't even a long day.


If you consider acres sprayed vs downtime it really isn't that bad. The last season we had the 4710 it had quite a few breakdowns too. 

 

But one of the things that bugged us is the fact that there wasn't any testing done with these rigs in our area. Then they started selling them here and guess what, lots of problems started showing up with how we run them here across pivot tracks.  'oh we don't run them like that up north'.

Then there's the AC problem that doesn't exist acording to the higher ups. But when talking to some other engineers (some guys actually out running and working on these rigs) they said that the problem is real and all 4920's have it, not just the 2 our dealer sold.

 

 

We have worked with the folks at Amadas (peanut combines) several times and they are good folks to work with.
