That's what I do and I think it's the most accurate way to weight unless you forget to tare before dumping but that's not the scale's fault. Last year on one farm of seed beans I weighted 6,330 bushel of beans with the cart and when Pioneer picked them up last winter they came up with 6,327 bushel so I can't ask for it to be any more accurate than that.
