Walnut Grove MN USA | Biggest complaint I had with a JD vac is I never knew what the best vac level is until the corn comes up. I also found changing disks to be inconvinient. A couple of times I filled with seed and then realized I needed to change disks. That is not fun. I used the E-set disks this year and have the best stand ever from a vac planter and never have to worry about changing disks. JD had one of the best planters twenty years ago but everybody else has stepped up and built a better planter now. Have you considered putting Presion Planting finger meters your planter? I have no experience with them but I really like their vac setup. | |
