Somerville, Indiana
NECO used to send parts direct to farmer...$750 for the gear box in the center of bin, guess your motor is on the outside of the bin sitting on unload auger too?

Anyway they went to selling thru dealers, cost went to $2800 for the gear box and we took it all out and installed roof augers to the other bins...I kept a gear box or two if you need some parts out of them...pretty simple, when they weren't so expensive we changed them out every three years to keep from having trouble with a bin full...It takes a lot more power to turn the floor auger when the bin has several feet of grain over the auger...we used to turn the auger on at least once a week and let it run for a few seconds, all it took to keep it free...miss a month and it would bind up...36 pipe wrench and cheater bar to break it loose, also very hard on moving parts in gear box...Actually two gear boxes, upper and lower...If the floor auger is jumping up and down, the gears may be partially stripped...floor auger in our bin always took off like a rocket with no grain in the bin...the vertical auger would always rattle and shake when it was running empty...you will have to raise the vertical auger to change the gear boxes, or probably even to work on them...not much room in that small space...don't forget to grease every fall until grease comes out the top relief holes.

email if you might need some parts out of the boxes.

Nebraska Engineering Co I think...again, running the augers once a day while filling should keep them free.
