| We had similar problems with starting our system. I agree that starting the machine occasionally while filling - especially after the first couple of loads - seems to solve the problem. Before you start tearing apart gear boxes, be sure to check the drive shaft that runs from the hub on the outside of the bin through the center of the unload auger. We broke one a couple of years ago. We have also had to repair a gearbox. I hired a boom truck to lift the center verticle auger enough to remove the gearboxes. Of course we had to scaffold up to remove the roof augers first.... | |
