Both disc's, left and right, are held on by a bolt with standard right hand thread. Sounds like the left hand side is simply unscrewing.
The owner's manual recommends using a medium strength threadlocker be used such as that made by Loctite when installing the disc's. Just be sure not to use the high strength version that requires heat for disassembly.
