Subject: Great Planes drill

I have 2 15 foot no till drills (GP) with about 15,000 acres total, one with nine, one with six. Never had that problem, I do tighten the bolts with a breaker bar, never reused thred lock like they are new.
If the leading disk is worn down to the back one problems will arise. I exchange the front one with the back one to get a new leading edge. Make sure they fit snug, not tight at the point of the leading edge. Tight will only take out rivits. By the time they are worn down again the second time the bearings or rivits are getting bad. (RENEW) With a 15 foot drill I have to rebuild every 3 to 4 thousand acres. Some of my custome work is in rocky conditions, ditch banks etc.
good luck.
