Effingham, IL | I just put a set on my 1020. They look almost too simple to work. If anyone puts a set on don't use the 17/64 bit they include. The self tapping 5/16 bolts will spin out if your not careful. I'd try a 1/4 or 15/64 bit first. The metal in the cross-auger is very thin. It sure will be a good investment if they give the same benefit as a full-finger cross auger. I'm at least 10 days away from soys. I'm sure there will be many reveiws in the next month. Cost is $150 for 20' and $200 for 25' head plus s&h. For no more than there is to them I'd say Polytech is making a fortune, but if they work it will be a bargain. Craig | |
