Sorry, just could not resist.
Menards was 2" suction hose in stock my area. I think pre-cut 2" is around $1.50 a foot. I think true suction will work better than PVC. PVC will get brittle over time but is cheaper. Some to cut PVC into 2-3' sections. I guess kind like the Johnson Rock Gaurd.
