Brazilton KS
I'm not buying any of the comments about low end torque, guys. Our service truck is governed at about 2800 and is completely dead below about 1500. It is geared to be on the governor at about 68 in high gear and I couldn't imagine trying to drive it if it were geared for a 1500 RPM cruise like Ray said. The row crop Challengers with the 3116 are also pretty much dead below 1500. At 6.6 liters there just isn't much engine there to be expecting it to have a lot of grunt at low rpm. Due to low displacement it just needs a fair bit of RPM in order to get enough air through to make any power. As long as you keep it turning and don't get underneath the turbo it is a screamer.
