How wide is that chain Clay??I've got two BBI spreaders,one a pull type with the slats every third link or so,the other is truck mounted with the slats every other link..As far as the bridging,the truck mounted bed is definitely the worst of the two..When working with litter that is wet,i've found what works best for me is to mix the material as i'm loading,trying to get as much dry mixed in with the wet spots..But contrary to what the others have said,if i have wet,i want it on top..The slope on your bed actually looks steeper than the BBI's..
