Saranac, Michigan
No matter how the operation is working, your design and workmanship were done very well. What is the capacity?

When we redid the feeders on the asphalt plant and engineer from the original manufacturer told me that the cause of the bridging was because there were equal forces on both side and that it created an arch and unless arch was flatter, nothing like more slippery sides would work. Since wider in that case was not an option, we did the vibrator thing. In your case wider will likely be better, but I have seen the litter we are using bridge higher up in the box where it was near 40" wide. As with everything, finding the right answer to the problem

Again, my compliments on a good job. I can only hope ours will look as good. By the way, we use your method of banging around in the field and it always makes me feel like our spread is not very accurate.
