Subject: Re: Spreader bridging problem

www.vibco.com We use their 1600r model on fertilizer trailers. This one is not powerful enough for a spreader, they make a big one for end dumps, might be a 3200 something. If it won't make the compost come out, it should be enough to break welds. Our New Leader 7000 (34 inch chain) has very little trouble if the loader operator is careful. I am going the other way on the bars/ link, I am going to put one on every link to avoid overloading the spinners. The surge of material with fewer bars shows up on the ground as a poor pattern. We were too embarrassed to use this machine much because of the pattern with the std 24 inch spinners. I got (they are going to have to fight me to get it back) an experimental 28 inch spinner assembly from New Leader that makes a good pattern. A production compost box with 30 inch spinners should be available now.
