When we have bird problems on our cell towers we use a product called Tanglefoot. It's a sticky paste that comes in tubes. You apply it with a caulking gun. The birds land on it, get it stuck on thier feet and can't stand it, so they just leave and don't come back. The down fall is you need to reapply every year. We have tried everyting and this seems to work the best.
