As stated above, the tubes can be positioned either way on the 750, 1560 or 1590. I no-till an alfalfa-timothy mix and like to put the alfalfa in the big hopper and set the gauge wheels on the shallowest setting. I put the timothy in the small seed box and let it drop on top of the ground (out of the brackets). It has worked very well for me for the past 7 years.
