SW Saskatchewan
Kochia is the real wonder crop, only thing that it can't stand is a decent year with a good crop.

Lots of canary seed grown here a few years back(2002) that got polluted with kochia. Local elevator had a indent grain cleaner and an operator that could clean fly s**t out of pepper. Had bins full of kochia seed and sold it to a feed mill for 5cents a pound. Not a lot of pounds on a semi, but the feed mill guy said' if its green, its alfalfa once its in a pellet!"

Later, frozen grain hit the market and good barley could be had for 3 cents a pound, but cattle all over were eating Kochia.

Have a good one.
