Subject: Putting in a long run of water line

I have a 1-1/2" black flex tubing water line to put in on about a 1400' run. Trying to come up with a cheap way of doing it. The ground is very sandy, which makes a trencher very variable in that the lose sand will backfill in before you can even get the line in, did a 600' run with a backhoe, which got expensive. Was thinking of renting a tile plow and plowing it in at 5' depth, anyone ever tried this, will it work? What would one of the tilers charge me to bring in their machine with the rotating digging wheel and drop it in? Anyone ever tried the underground boring? I'm guessing that would be pretty expensive, anyone have any ideas? Really leaning towards a large tile plow if that sounds feasible. appreciate the help. Thanks.

Eddie
