Ed, I just installed 2700' of 1" water line thru the farm. Started with a walk behind ditcher for priliminary work, then wen to a large rider. Installed about 400' then called in the backhoe. I probably added a couple hundred dollars to the project, but at least I could work the pipe with the fittings, valves and curb stops.
