| The 89 series is just a slightly refined version of the 7200 series. The 7200 and 8900 series were very strong and nearly indestructable machines.
You must consider that these older Magnums are from a different generation of tractors as the MX. The 89 is from the mostly mechanical era, and the MX is from the computer dominated era.
You have to carefully consider what would make the MX "better" for your operation. If comfort and convenience are important, then it probably is better. They are very different animals; you must remember that.
