Dave I have a JD 893 with AHC and contour Master. If you are working in down corn there is nothing better. The down side is wet conditions,especially if you have sticky soils like mine.

If there is something better I would buy it,but I assure you you would not regret AHC after using it,even in good conditions it is a great tool working at night or in dusty conditions.
