Around here everyone of those heads for sale has an adaptor plate with it. The drive on a 343 is on the right, but the shaft runs all the way across under the head. Should be no problem driving from other end. I've never seen an adaptor with a shaft in it, doesn't mean they dont make em.
Feeder house plate from a 45 55 95 3300 0r 4400 should take care of most of your fabrication, I think............
Sprocket combo depends on what you have on the chopper. If the sprocket is on the head and you have sprockets on the chopper, you should have all you need. Perhaps the 24 tooth on chopper and 30 tooth on head. I think..............
As for lifting the head, I don't know. But I do know the head wieghs 1850 #.
Is this something that you are putting together for this year or next year?????
