SE South Dakota | If you want to build it yourself just find an worn out auger with a transport like you'll need and salvage the transport. Then build the brush auger on it that you want. I would use a metal tube rather than PVC. The plastic might be too weak to support the weight of the rig and I don't think the difference in "gentleness" between a steel tube and PVC would be noticeable once you get the metal shined up. Plus with the metal you can just weld on it as you need to.
