Loran if your header is on the ground there shouldn't be any stalks under the head to ride over,at least in conventional till fields.

I have never experienced the problem you guys mentioned here anyway. We are picking down corn at the moment with no problem.

Worst case scenario is mud,lets all hope for a dry fall,but does not look good the next few days here in north Missouri.
