They are spendy. I think we pay around $1500.00 for the original set. Then after that, you just have to have the plates re-barred. As lang as you dont run too many rocks or pieces of foreign material through, they'll last quite a few acres. He also does sell these through the local dealers for selling with new combines, so maybe if you'd rather, you could have your local dealer call Dale.
